BioHacks 2021 was a free, virtual bioinformatics hackathon aiming to tackle epidemic health issues raised by COVID-19. Students and the community came together to create new projects or run analyses on anything related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
There were two interconnected streams:
Stream 1: Computational Methods against Diseases
Stream 2: Healthcare Tool Development
A variety of events were held throughout the two days including seminars and workshops from professionals from the industry and academia all while networking with like-minded students ready to take on the challenge!
